GDPR Certification:

This is an independent and objective confirmation of a third party (CeCert Sp.z o.o.) that your organization meets the provisions of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the EU Council of April 27, 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data. This confirmation is obtained as a result of an audit study – that is, sampling the system that operates in this area in your company.

Pursuant to Article 42, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on certification:

Certification is voluntary and the process for obtaining it must be transparent
A certification pursuant to this Article does not affect the responsibility of the controller or processor to comply with this Regulation and is without prejudice to the tasks and powers of the competent supervisory authorities.
The controller or processor that submits their processing to a certification mechanism shall provide the certification body (…) or, where applicable, the competent supervisory authority with all information and access to its processing activities that are necessary for the performance of the procedure. certification
The certification of the controller or processor is granted for a maximum period of 3 years; certification may be extended under the same conditions as long as the applicable requirements are still met. Where applicable, the certification bodies (…) or the competent supervisory authority shall withdraw certification if its requirements are not or are no longer met
